Via Hiroki Nakumara's blog on Honeyee new pics have come about of a new Visvim boot that looks like a great combination of materials and production quality. I have always been a fan of what Visvim does and their philosiphy towards their products and end design. I think I found my new fall boot!

Day by day I become more enthralled with design and its use in marketing. A simple idea, executed to a tee, can refresh something that is over 30 years old. When I saw this I was so excited it made me want to update this blog, something that I haven't done in a long time. I don't think the following need an introduction, what an amazing re-branding of a timeless classic. Makes me want to reserve right now, how about you??

Ides of March

I really haven't been that busy.... Moving to a new place come March 1st. My goal is to really start again on this blog. I had a good amount of interest in it when I started up then just got completely lazy. Early posts will be highlighting a lot of Spring & Summer lines coming out, and probably a few looks back at this past winters most memorable releases. It's time to jump start life.

Quick post: Gap selvage on sale 19.99

Picked up a few pairs of these Gap selvage today and at 19.99 you really can't go wrong. Although they aren't washed they really can't be considered "raw denim" even though they really do have that feel and appearance. There is a white selvage stitch and blue stitching near the pocket rivets as well as the bottom cuffs. Although I'm about to spring for some Nom De Guerre selvage, these are beyond a steal at that price. Judge for yourself...

Nike Huarache ACG's released

Finaly the much talked about Huarache ACG's have released at a few select retail spots, with more to come. The Huarache was developed in 92' as a cross training shoe. Marketed to athletes of all sports it quickly took on, not only as a shoe for training, but a favorite among sneaker enthusiasts around the world. With a inner sock lining the shoe is made to fit perfectly tight to your foot, so I wouldn't play around with a size up or down. Squeezing into these is known to make the heel strap snap off and can send the person who's in the sneakers flying. These particular color ways are inspired from the ACG line (All Conditions Gear), a division of Nike known for meticulous production, design, and quality which is rare to see this day and age (not to mention they are also some of the original color ways the shoe was first released in).

Nike ACG is and has always been one of my favorite divisions of Nike, with the products I've owned lasting through years of wear, I'll have more to come about ACG in the future. For now these Huarache's can be found at KixFiles but should be in your area soon (I'm not 100% sure if these are tier 0 or not but once I confirm I'll make sure you all know).

Atmos Doubble Face.

Atmos has released yet another amazing jacket. The "double face" jacket has a reversible inner and outer design. One being 'camo' and the other looking like the classic windrunner, with a clean color way. Atmos continues to be one of my favorite stores, hope they release this at the NY spot (it retails for about 170.00USD). If they do I'll have some more detailed pictures up soon. Enjoy!

Teal and Royal AM Lights North American release?

News has surfaced that people will be happy to know. The Teal and Royal blue Air Max lights, released this past July in Europe only, are going to be set upon the US and Canada. A date isn't know but this is excellent news for anyone who didn't want to pay the €85.00 plus the extreme postage rates from EU to North America. I, on the other hand, couldn't wait so I leave you with some pics to pacify you until then...more news once it is released.

Next down the line is the well covered (at least on safeinacrowd) Nike Air Structure. There has been so much debate over what materials are to be used and if the 'Rain Drop' pattern is a go or a no. With the recent pictures I think it is safe to call that there will be both a 'Rain Drop' release, presumed part of a pack consisting of an Air Max Light, and possibly a 90. 2008 is promising to be a good year for Nike running fans. Along with continued Air Max Lights in both OG and new color ways colorways. [This is a JD exclusive color way only released in the UK at JD Sports locations. It is actually one of two color ways originally released. The Air Max Light is the shoes that gave way to the Air Max one and Air Max 90. And is still, a very under rated shoe]

In my opinion ACG has the potential to swing Nike around into the direction they were headed in and before 98. Quality materials, functionality, and clean color ways are shaping this side of the Nike Co to a sharp edge. Example being the new Nike wildwood 90 free trail. What do you get when you take three legendary sneaker technology's and combine them into one shoe?

Nike Pegasus?!?

Rumor has it that Nike is planning on retroing the Pegasus early next year. If this is true ( and they keep with OG colors) it will be the best way to start off 2008, only question is will it be the 89 or the 93 or what??? First the Lights, soon the Structures, and hopefully Pegasus. (OG pegasus. 93)

Buzz Rickson has been making military jackets ranging from bomber to tank commander to WWII replicas. His prducts are considered to be the most high quality and difficult to obtain in the world. There is only ONE store in the US that carries the brand. Now put that together with a name like Nom de Guerre and you know you have a quality (high priced) item, you will NEVER see anyone wearing besides you. If I had £1350.00 I would have this jacket already. If you dont have that much cash you can down grade to the flight for only £745.00.

VERY nice hybrid, promises to be one of the most comfortable shoes in your stock while also being able to endure whatever you have to give them. The black with the speckled sole is the cleanest out of all these if you ask me.

Someone call John Tardy. I've never been into the band ripp offs (almost) every brand has been doing. At first it was you know, cute, with the Smiths or Joy Division. Then it just built and built until....this I mean, Please. Just please. It's turned into a bunch of kids walking around with shirts of album covers or band logos that in all actuality, they would probably never give the time of day to.

My name is Dan. I live up here in Montreal, QC. Been into sneakers for years and I've always tried to shy away from the bright attention getting style that consumes a lot of heads in the "street wear" community. I love clean sneakers and clothing. Im gonna keep you up to date with whats going on here in the Montreal community as well as in Boston (where I'm from) and other spots too.
